FAIDRÓS

A series of balancing acts of our paradoxical conditions obscuring as a show - manifestations of choices and opinions as a bacchanal! Inspired by contemporary philosophy, gender studies and semiotics mixed with humour and down to earth approach, artists of Radical Empathy create an assisted trio, where people share uncertainties and revaluate well-established perspectives. Brilliantly danced in a fascinating choreography with cool costumes and music.

Choreographer Tomáš Danielis has caused a stir or two in the Slovak scene. He keeps evolving different ways of thinking to his choreography and thus ultimately prompting fusions with light, visual and media arts. Faidrós is a latest production of the newly formed Radical Empathy while also the first group artwork of the company.

This is not a men vs. women issue. It´s about people vs. prejudice. Laura Bates
